Analytical Solution;

When a force of 250 N acts on the arms of the pliers and the moment is taken according to the axis of rotation, taking into account the dimensions of the part, the force that must occur at the tip of the pliers;

  F(N) * 46.25 (mm) = 250 (N) * 136,615 (mm)

  F = 738.45 N is found. This result will be compared with the result obtained from the analysis.

In the analysis, the force reaction was found to be 743.86 N.

The force we found analytically was 738.45 N.  

If we calculate the margin of error;

    The margin of error was found to be 0.73%, which is very small and at an acceptable level.

Conclusion;

We compared our pliers, for which we made the static calculation analytically, by analyzing them in ansys environment, and the results overlapped with each other. When we look at the stress analysis of our pliers, it is seen that the highest stress is in the thin and sharp-edged regions. In order to reduce the stresses, optimization studies will be carried out on our pliers later.
